Katherine Jensen is a Professional Teaching Fellow and PhD researcher in Responsible AI Adoption at the University of Auckland Business School. Her research explores how organisations navigate the challenges of implementing AI in practice, with a particular focus on leadership, organisational culture, governance, trust, and the gap between the promise of AI and the realities of adoption.

Her work examines both the opportunities and risks associated with AI in organisational settings, including the broader implications for employees, decision-making, and responsible implementation. She is particularly interested in how organisations can balance innovation with accountability as AI technologies rapidly evolve.

Alongside her academic work, Katherine teaches marketing and strategy and has more than 15 years of industry experience across marketing, business consulting, communications, and entrepreneurship. Her work aims to bridge academic research with the practical realities organisations face as they adopt and integrate AI technologies.
