Anna Liumaihetau Darling
General Manager People Experience
Sharesies
Anna Liumaihetau Darling (Te Aupōuri) is the General Manager of People Experience at Sharesies, where she's spent the past six years helping grow the company from a small startup to one of New Zealand's best-known fintechs, with operations across Australia and New Zealand. She has 15 years of experience across the public and private sectors in Aotearoa and the UK, and has a particular focus on increasing Māori and Pasifika representation in tech and leadership, and improving access to financial education for everyone.
Before Sharesies, she spent a good chunk of time growing women's rugby in New Zealand. Anna's philosophy is that we spend 40 hours a week at work, so we should actually enjoy it. Because of that, she cares deeply about creating workplaces where people can do their best work - and have a bit of fun along the way.
